Dusting off my P90X Vids

Hi Folks!

I hope you all have had a great weekend! I have! It's the first weekend I've been home with NOTHING to do in I can't remember how long-and it's been fab! I got some cleaning done, some good workouts in and kept food in check-score!

I'm currently trying to pack for 7 days-which seems impossible! I'll be in Kansas's state capitol all week for some work training (bonus points for non-Kansas folks who know what our state capitol is:). And then B will be picking me up on Friday to head to Iowa for my cousin's wedding shower. Yes, another trip to Iowa! We just can't get enough;)

The last two days I've been doing EXCELLENT on eating and working out-with the help of my Bodybugg! I've been struggling to think of some new workouts to do, especially with this week being away from home. So I dusted off my P90X videos!

I completed P90X in June of 2010. And I actually completed it all! I lost in total 11 inches and 11 pounds, but no where near close to the goals I wanted to reach during that time. I had a bowflex calorie counter at the time, and it said I was burning between 600-1000 calories per workout! My Bodybugg disagrees.....

Yesterday I did the Plyometrics video, arguably the hardest P90X video the program offers, see above! My Bodybugg said I burned 450 calories! Wow-what a difference! I was eating back the calories what I "thought" I burned, so I can see now why I didn't lose as much weight as I thought I would!

Today I did Shoulders and Arms workout and it was fab! I've also been using my Fitbook which is really helping me keep track of my workouts! I highly recommend one to get you on track and keep you there;)

Well, this is a short little post today but I'm off to the state capitol-about 2 1/2 hours away. I'll be blogging from there all week!

Do you have a workout that you always go to when you are getting bored? A workout that is a go-to, no-brainer, great workout?

  1. I like taking spinning classes when I'm bored. Each one is different!

  2. I really need to do the plyometrics P90x DVD again! I've only done it once and it kicked my booty! :)
